Manchester United boss Moyes investigated by FA for referee comments

The Red Devils supervisor, furious at André Marriner's choices during Tuesday's 2-1 defeat to Sunderland, recommended that his part were "needing to play the officials".

Manchester United supervisor David Moyes has been investigated by the Soccer Association for declaring that his part have "to perform officials along with the opposition".

The Red Devils were béaten 2-1 by Sunderland in the initial leg of these Capital One Mug semi-last on Tuesday ánd the aggrieved Scót experienced that both Dark Cats goals originated from wrong decisions, one a free of charge kick and something a penalty.

Moyes told the push after the sport of Andre Marriner's overall performance: "We thought the referee would blow inside our direction for the initial goal. I couldn't think he gave a free of charge kick. It was an awful decision.

"We all have been simply laughing at them at when. We get a participant booked for doing exactly the same. It looks as if we are needing to play them [officials] along with the opposition right now."

The FA has verified they are looking at those comments, and is particularly looking at the throwing óf flares during Tuésday's sport, which appeared to result from United supporters.

United player-trainer Ryan Giggs agréed with Moyés's frustrations concerning refereeing, describing the amount of choices going against his part as "laughable".
