Eikrem set to join Cardiff City

The 23-year-previous midfielder is certainly on the verge to become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's initial signing after hé visited St Jamés' Park to view the club defeat Newcastle in thé FA Cup

Heerenveen trainer Marco van Basten provides verified that Magnus Eikrem is defined to leave the golf club amid rumours thé midfielder will sign up for Cardiff City.

Eikrem had been in the stánds at St Jamés' Recreation area on Saturday as Cardiff originated from behind to defeat Newcastle United 2-1 in the FA Cup 3rd round within their first video game under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The versatile 23-year-old caused SoIskjaer during his speIl at Molde ánd had been furthermore coachéd by his Norwégian compatriot once the Cardiff boss was responsible for Manchester United's reserve aspect.

"It is a shame he's [Eikrem] departing because in the ultimate period of the initial half of the growing season he has been very important to us," Van Basten informed Leeuwarden Courant.

Eikrem has obtained two objectives in 13 appearances since becoming a member of from Molde in June.
