Demsey move to Fulham on loan

The 30-year-old will return to the club he served with distinction for five years before moving to London with Tottenham in acrimonious circumstances in August 2012.

Clint Dempsey has returned to Fulham on a two-month loan deal from the club Seattle Sounders. 30-year-old has returned to England from the Seattle Sounders to help offer Cottagers' to avoid relegation in the EPL season ini.MLS off-season.

Dempsey to leave Fulham in acrimonious circumstances to sign for Tottenham in August 2012, which ended a five-year stay at Craven Cottage after leaving the New England Revolution in 2007.

"I'm glad to be back," U.S. international player told the club's official website. "This has always felt like my home in Europe and I'm just excited to be back and be part of this team and play in this league.

"I want to return to play at the highest level and return to the top level.

"The game plan was to go out and give everything I have, make the most of it and take some shots.

"The evidence is there, the signs are there that it is a team fighting for any points they can get and if they keep the mentality that should not have any problems climbing the table.

"They are in a difficult sit before and came out, and I do not think this will be any different."

Dempsey scored 60 goals in 225 appearances for Fulham, including a famous individual goal against Juventus in the club's magical run to the Europa League final in 2010.

He follows in the footsteps of the likes of Landon Donovan and Thierry Henry as EPL star to have enjoyed a loan spell in the Premier League.
